Examinations

The examinations are given during the following times:

Veterinary Examinations:
North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
Please visit https://www.icva.net/ for testing window dates. The deadlines for applying to take the NAVLE are August 1 and January 1 prior to each test window.

State Board Examination is electronic and can be taken upon completed documentation and Board approval.

Veterinary Technician Examinations:
Examination applications must be received prior to each test window by the following dates:

February 1 for the March 15 - April 15 Testing Window
June 1 for the July 15 - August 15 Testing Window
October 1 for the November 15 - December 15 Testing Window
