Examination Information
The NBPME has contracted with Prometric, Inc. to conduct its American Podiatric Medical Licensing Exam (APMLE) program.
The APMLE consist of three exams: Part I, Part II, and Part III. Any candidates starting the NBPMEs APMLE after January 1, 2010 must take and pass the exams in sequential order. (The test sequence policy does not apply to candidates who have taken any NBMPE exam prior to January 1, 2010.)
To be eligible to take Part III exam, individuals must have passed Part I and Part II exams, hold a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree, and have made application for a license to one or more of the state boards participating in the Part III program.
