Graduate Medical Student Temporary License
Graduate Medical Students,
In response to the state and federal public health emergencies, the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts (Board) received a call to action for graduates of medical programs to provide care to Missouri citizens during this State of Emergency. The Board promulgated an Emergency Rule authorizing the issuance of a graduate medical student temporary license. Medical graduates who graduated from an accredited medical college or osteopathic college and have matched to a residency program in 2020 may qualify for this license. All graduate medical student temporary licenses will expire on June 30, 2020.
The Emergency Rule authorizing this license is in effect from May 15, 2020 through November 10, 2020. A copy of the rule can be viewed at the Secretary of State Office website at https://www.sos.mo.gov/adrules/EmergenciesforInternet/emergency .
The application can be downloaded at https://pr.mo.gov/healingarts-application-forms.asp, and emailed to our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed to (573) 751-3166. There is no fee for applying for the graduate medical student temporary license.
Physician Workforce Data Collection
The Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts and the University of Missouri, School of Medicine are collaborating to collect workforce data to better understand the characteristics of the physician workforce in Missouri.
To meet the healthcare needs of our population, Missouri needs to assess the areas of practice, quantity, demographic characteristics, and practice locations of our physician workforce.
The collection period will run from November 9, 2019 to January 31, 2020. Data collected through this physician survey will be analyzed by the School of Medicine.
Completion of the survey will take approximately 10 minutes.
This survey is voluntary and anonymous and your answers will not be connected in any way to the data collected for your license renewal.
If you need technical assistance with the survey, please contact Jill Lucht at email@example.com or 573-882-2300.
If you are a current licensee, please fill out the short 1 minute survey below.
