BUPRENORPHINE PRESCRIBING (SB 951)
Effective August 28, 2018, APRNs, Physician Assistants and Assistant Physicians with an authorizing collaborative practice/supervisory agreement may now prescribe up to a 30-day supply of buprenorphine for patients receiving medication assisted treatment for a substance use disorder. Questions regarding buprenorphine prescribing should be addressed to BNDD at bndd@health.mo.gov.
