Informational Meetings

During the months of July and August the Office of Statewide Electrical Contractors conducted a series of informational meetings across Missouri to share the requirements of the statute and to engage in dialog with potential licensees, city/county staff, and members of the public. Comments and feedback was solicited to assist with the filing of proposed regulations relating to the new law. The outcome of those meetings is being utilized to finalize the process for licensure in an efficient, intuitive, and simple process. Comments are still being accepted online, via email OSEC@pr.mo.gov or U.S. Mail.

If you did not have an opportunity to participate in one of the informational meetings, you can view the presentation and the handouts by clicking here. If you have any questions regarding any of the materials, please feel free to contact our office. As noted above, comments are still being accepted.

We will begin accepting applications for licensure after all of the rules and regulations have been filed with a target date of January 2019. Anyone interested in receiving further information is encouraged to sign up for "govdelivery" or send an e-mail to OSEC@pr.mo.gov.

Submit comments online, via email OSEC@pr.mo.gov or U.S. Mail. Please submit all written comments by November 30, 2017. Thank you for your participation.
