Temporary Practice
The Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission will recognize the license or certificate of an appraiser from another state provided that the appraiser completes the following:
1. Print, complete and have notarized the Temporary Practice Form
2. Submit the original forms to:

The fee for a temporary permit is $150.00 per permit. The permit is valid for 6 months.
The Commission does not require a letter of good standing from your current state, provided that you are listed in good standing with the National Registry of the Appraisal Subcommittee (http://www.asc.gov).
It is required that the original forms be received by the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission prior to the appraiser beginning the assignment in this state.

To register, you need to have an email on record with your board. If you have not received an email from us about MOPRO, please contact your board (PR Boards) to update your records. Many boards have online services that allow you to quickly and easily change your contact information. Please feel free to change your email address using this feature if it is available for your board.
