Reciprocity Applications
The commission may issue a certificate or license to an individual who is certified or licensed in a state, provided the commission is furnished verification that the appraiser is in good standing, the state the appraiser is coming from is in compliance with the Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC), and the credentialing requirements of that state (as they currently exist) meet or exceed those of the reciprocal credential state (as they currently exist).
1.) Complete, sign and have notarized the Reciprocity Form.
2.) Missouri will utilize the ASC National Registry to determine if the applicant is in good standing.
3.) Submit the form with the appropriate fee.
4.) Fingerprint Receipt.
The Commission operates on a biennial cycle, in which all licenses expire on June 30 of even numbered years.
