Generic Drug Formulary

Effective 8/28/09 the Board will no longer publish the Negative Formulary. Pharmacists shall not substitute drug products that are rated as therapeutically inequivalent to other pharmaceutically equivalent products. Pharmacists may check equivalency ratings in FDA's Approved Drug Products with Therapeutic Equivalence Evaluations (Orange Book) which can be found at http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/ob/default.cfm.
