Downloadable ListingsOccupational Therapy These files are for Professional Registration Directories. They contain information about different occupations that are in the state of Missouri. The following files have been tab delimited so they can be easily imported into a database, spreadsheet, or word processor. Right Click on the *.exe file you wish to download and select Save As. Place the file where you can access it easily. Your Desktop or My Documents directory would work fine. The file you have downloaded is a self-extracting executable. This means that you have to run this file to extract the two files (data file and the file description). Once you have downloaded the file you must execute it. To do this you must either double-click on the file or run it through DOS. You may be prompted to over write files (filedesc.txt and *.txt), type Y for yes. After you have done this you should find two separate files. A file description and the data file ending in .txt. The file description file contains information on the type of fields contained in the data file and how large the fields are. This will help you set up a spreadsheet or database. After setting up your document, spreadsheet or database you must import the data file (*.txt) into it. Caution: Downloadable Listings are not provided for verification of discipline.
