On February 9, 2016, in the case of Calzone v. Koster, et. al., case number 15AC-CC00247, the Court entered its Order, Judgment and Permanent Injunction finding SB 672 (2104) unconstitutional. The Court's order determined that the changes made in SB 672 were unconstitutional and permanently precluded the state agencies impacted by the changes from instituting those changes.
Senate Bill 672 included modifications to sections 339.507 and 339.531 of the Missouri Real Estate Appraiser Commission's statutory authority. As a result of the Court's order, the Commission will not institute the changes to sections 339.507 and 339.531 identified in SB 672. The Commission will rely on the pre-August 28, 2014 version of the sections.Open Records request
