Real Estate Appraisers Commission
Continuing Education
The Appraisal Subcommittee just completed a field review of Missouri's Real Estate Appraisers program. One of their findings involved continuing education requirements for those reactivating their license from an INACTIVE status.
The current regulation allows an individual to reactivate their license by submitting the renewal form, reactivation fee and proof of twenty-eight (28) hours of continuing education within the previous two years.
According to the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB), individuals reactivating their license from an INACTIVE status must complete all required continuing education hours that would have been required if the credential holder was in an Active status.
The Commission is currently working on amending their regulation, however, wanted to notify its licensees as soon as possible regarding this change.
