Regulated ProfessionsAPELSLAContinuing EducationHow to apply for preapproval How to apply for preapproval of Land Surveyor PDU's Under 4 CSR 30-8.020, sponsors (not individuals) may seek the Board's preapproval of a professional development activitiy such as a meeting, workshop, seminar, course, etc. To apply for preapproval of an upcoming activity, please contact the Board Office at telephone (573) 751-0047 or fax (573) 751-8046, and request the Preapproval Form for Land Surveyor Professional Development Activities. The following information is required to complete the form: Name, address and telephone number of Sponsor and contact person: The title of the activity. The date(s) and time(s) of the activity. (Including start and stop times and times for breaks.) The location where the activity will be held. The instructors name, address and phone number. The number of PDU's the sponsor is seeking. Also required is complete information about the proposed activity. Information such as: Activity outline or syllabus, presentation abstract(s), preliminary program, course description(s), and instructors resume or vita. The required information may also be submitted in writing directly to: Missouri Board For Architects Professional Engineers And Land Surveyors 3605 Missouri Blvd. Jefferson City, MO 65109 Upon consideration of the request, the sponsor will receive a letter from the Board with its determination, and, if approved, the number of PDU's allowed. Also upon request, the activity will go on a list maintained by the Board of upcoming educational activities. The sponsor should keep a record of those attending its preapproved programs.
